About: BTCC – U of T is a service learning group that will take part in a trip to La Guama, Dominican Republic beginning in May of 2019. We have partnered with Bridges to Community Canada (BTCC) to organise this trip, and are grateful for their help in getting the U of T community involved in this wonderful initiative. BTCC focuses on humanitarian interventions in small communities in both Nicuargua and the Dominican Republic. U of T’s chapter of BTCC is looking forward to helping these communities reach their goals!
Where it began: This is a project that Matt Renaud and myself, Anna Licht have been working on diligently since April of 2017. Matt was lucky enough to travel with Bridges in high school, and his memorable experience motivated him create an environment in which others could experience the same life-changing journey! We want our chapter of BTCC to be impactful in our efforts, and we would love for you to be a part of it!
